Eligibility & Selection
The Cohen Cares Scholarship is based on the following criteria:
- Employees must participate in the Cohen Cares giving program or the dependent of an employee that does
- Pursuing a degree or trade school certification
How to Apply
Applications are submitted through the Scholarship Portal during the regular scholarship cycle each winter. Follow these steps to get started.
Review Eligibility
Confirm you meet the school, GPA, and application requirements before beginning your application.
Write Your Essay
Craft a personal essay that reflects on a challenge you have faced and how it has shaped your desire to serve and support others.
Gather Materials
Collect your transcripts, two letters of recommendation, and any supporting documentation that speaks to your community involvement.
Submit via SLM Portal
Log in to the SLM Scholarship Portal and submit your complete application before the posted deadline. Late applications are not accepted.
