Community Foundation Launches TV Show

On the show, Middletown Community Foundation Executive Director T. Duane Gordon interviews leaders from local charities about the work they are doing to improve the greater Middletown area, with special emphasis on programs which have received support from Community Foundation grants. “This is a wonderful opportunity to shine the spotlight on the tremendous work that many charities are doing for the betterment of our community,” Gordon said. “And we thank TV Middletown for providing us with a venue to accomplish that.” The half-hour program premiered Aug. 14 on TV Middletown, Time Warner Channel 24. New episodes premiere bi-weekly followed by multiple re-broadcasts. Each episode is also available for online viewing at tvmiddletown.blip.tv beginning after each broadcast. The subject of the first program was TV Middletown itself, the non-profit, local origination channel covering life and events in Middletown. The guest for that episode was the station’s executive director, Ty Thomas.
