What is the Annual Giving Program?
This annual request for support throughout the year focuses on raising unrestricted funds for the ongoing operations of the Foundation. These funds are critical to the overall goals of the Foundation. Anyone making a contribution of $50 or more is automatically a member of the Middletown Community Foundation (MCF).
Why should I support the Annual Giving Program?
Because your support throughout the year provides the unrestricted funds for the ongoing operations of the Foundation, including paying for the infrastructure that awards grants to meet the most pressing needs of the community that often arise during the year. Additionally, these funds ensure we have the very best and experienced staff.
How much and how often will I be asked to give?
Giving is a personal decision. We encourage you to give at the time and level that is best for you. We provide opportunities throughout the year to give by enclosing a remit/reply envelope in most of our mailings. We encourage you to consider increasing your giving to the next level each year. Remember, all gifts are 100% tax deductible. Your gift in any amount is greatly appreciated!
Why are giving levels important?
These levels both large and small recognize donors who support the Middletown Community Foundation year in and year out. As a member, your name will appear under your level in our Annual Report.
Will my gift make a difference?
Absolutely! Every tax-deductible gift is used to strengthen the Middletown Community Foundation and ultimately goes back into the community. Your gift sends a powerful message that you believe in your Foundation and its mission.
